I wonder if Xamax will rest some of their players for the Swiss Cup Final? Basel can't afford that luxury because they are chasing GCZ. Servette might be able to pull of a draw or victory.

GCZ should win, but Thun have won two in a row.

    YB should get three points.

    Early action:
Both games are in the 13' minute

    Grasshoppers [1 - 0] Thun
    8' [1 - 0] Nunez

    Young Boys Bern [2 - 0] Wil
    4' [1 - 0] Vonlanthen
    9' [2 - 0] Magnin

A win by YB can go a long way to helping them qualify for the UEFA Cup. It will be interesting to see if either team bunkers down after the early goals.

    9' [2 - 0] Magnin
    15' [3 - 0] Berisha
    22' [3 - 1] Häsler

Wil gave up 8 goals in 105 minutes.

    Grasshoppers [3 - 0] Thun
    8' [1 - 0] Nunez
    36' [2 - 0] Castillo
    41' [3 - 0] Schwegler

GCZ puts two in right before half-time. Looks like the defense is doing good stopping the recently resurgent Thun attack.

    Young Boys Bern [3 - 2] Wil
    4' [1 - 0] Vonlanthen
    9' [2 - 0] Magnin
    15' [3 - 0] Berisha
    22' [3 - 1] Häsler
    45' [3 - 2] Calla

The YB are playing with fire here. A 45' minute goal will help Wil. Loosing points in this game could be devistating.

    18' Basel 0 - 0 Zurich
    18' Neuchatel Xamax 0 - 0 Servette

Huge loss for YB is Servette can hang on to win. This loss has given Servette hope again. Both Wil an YB ended up with 10 players as each had one sent off. GCZ strenghtens their grip on first place.

    76' [3 - 0] Christian Gimenez
    81' [3 - 1] Bastida

Basel warms up for the Swiss Cup clash this weekend.

    Neuchatel Xamax [1 - 3] Servette
    37' [1 - 0] Rey
    43' [1 - 1] Londono
    45' [1 - 2] Diogo
    65' [1 - 3] Kader

Xamax throws Servette a lifeline. Nice turn around from the GCZ debacle for Servette. Xamax did rest some of their players in preperation for the Swiss Cup final, but not a lot.

    For the UEFA Cup spot:
    YB: at Xamax
    vs Servette
    at Thun
    vs GCZ

    Servette:
    vs Wil
    at YB
    vs Basel
    at Zurich

Just looking at the schedule the game on matchday 12 will be pivitol. YB have the advantage of a three point lead with 4 games remaining.

    YB opponets average 4th place.
    Servette's average 4.5 place

Servette has two matches against the two worst teams left, and two of the better ones. YB have matches against the middle of the table. Too close to call right now, but I think that YB have the edge.
