In 2012 Japan will send Spain home
It's the most historic WC ever =))
Yup... only there is no WC scheduled for 2012!!
oh man, my mistake
I can wait for 2014 thought =))
If Nakazawa retires, his career would be perfect to make an epic biography movie from.
From part-time working teenager saving money to go to Brazil, to youth NTs, to J.League titles alongside Matsuda who can be referred to as the mentor, to JNT debut and first career, to first retirement, then overexaggeration of him coming back in '07, then the 2010 FWC and retirement.
What /when was this"?
2008 East Asia Football Championship (joke competition, but unavoidable sadly) in China against China with a North Korean official.
That keeper didn't even get a yellow for the kung fu kick, and even broke the kid's (Yasuda) collar bone.
There's video of that and more (much more) here from Matsu...

Ive seen that video many times, that is a crappy cup like the concacaf gold cup when there is no Confederations cup berth.
At the very bottom of this article is a link to a YouTube music video, and the fact that this video came to my attention only now, rather than at the group stages, is a cause of unspeakable regret, since I would have played it over and over while watching all of Japan's matches:
The Dutch were just like the Chinese in the video. I can't believe they are still whining about the officiating when they were the luckier side.
