    That is certainly vague.

    Apparently it is this one.

    Championship Soccer Stadium
at the Orange County Great Park
    8272 Great Park Blvd
    Irvine, CA 92618

    Well, they've applied.

A shared USL/NISA stadium. Maybe they could play a double header.

    Apparently.

For those that understandably doing that’s a Great Park in Irvine. Also sucks for the Force. Even if they beat San Diego and win the division on points they don’t get to host the game.

Cool, they’ll join a league just in time for it to die.

Who was it who had no interest in the third division, again?

That's not a nice thing to say about the legendary club NISA Connecticut.

Remember that planned NISA Daytona team that was later moved to Baton Rouge then was removed from its short existence in NISA's website?

Maybe not this league, right here and now. However, that’s absolutely what this country needs for soccer as a whole.

Twelve years ago this same quote would absolutely have been lobbed against Chattanooga or Statesboro or Greenville.

I don’t see them finding 24 solid teams in the next two years. Also they're not going to be able to do the winter schedule with a break in it with that many teams.

Do people ever learn from past mistakes with over-expansion? How about stabilizing first?

    "23-25 teams in 2 years"

Yep, I'm sure that's gonna happen smoothly and without any disruptions.

Personally, I predict 2-3 teams leaving NISA before next Spring season.

I expect most of the current teams to fold in the next 12 months or less... so good luck with that 23-25 teams...

    Still I needed a laugh

"Finalmente, los rumores que vinculan a NY Cosmos con NISA se han quedado en eso, «Son muchos rumores, no puedo decir quienes son los equipos que están aplicando."

That's a long winded way of saying "f*** the Cosmos!".

They're not starting from nothing. They' need about 10 more teams (and no more Matt Drivers).
    Why not?

Because 2/3 of the country's population has shit weather between December and March.

With a balanced schedule of 24 teams it’s going to be quite hard to avoid playing from December to February. That’s why I don’t think they’ll be able to keep this split season schedule. Best bet is to switch to a summer schedule.

How many times does it have to be repeated that they're not planning on playing then?

Where is the assumption of a balanced schedule coming from? They've already got east and west conferences, based on the showcase.

That's over 10,000 teams. You can't knock their ambition.

The Cosmos and Miami had B teams in NPSL when there was a NASL.
