I actually apply a line of clear superglue to where the sole and upper meet before I even play on turf. (Scotch brand has been my favorite, but avoid like... gorilla glue which bubbles and expands)

It keeps out the beads, which work their way in between the layers like a wedge and pull them apart. If I see a gap appear from getting stepped on, I pull out any beads that get in, apply a bit more glue, and clamp it shut overnight.

It's definitely extended the life of my turf magistas.

If they are within your return date I'd return those - that shouldn't happen unless you drag you toes around on the turf a ridiculous amount as part of your kicking technique. I've got a friend who just snaps back studs off Nike boots from playing on turn because of the way he positions his standing foot when kicking a ball.

Do you drag your toes when you run? That doesn't look like normal wear-and-tear sort of thing.

Thats what I was thinking or scuff the ground when you shoot or pass the ball around.

Ha, didn't realize you beat me to it.

I doubt Nike will give out a credit voucher for that though, the damage is still very minor & they are getting stingy and strict with their investigations as there are more and more people trying to take advantage of the policy. But then again, when a ~$300 pair of cleats isn't lasting more than a season, I would also be tempted to do the same...

I've got a similar thing going on with my Bomba Finale IIs, I've had them for two years or something by now though I think so not really going to complain about the sole starting to come away and the couple of small holes in the upper. Think I cause the sole seperation when I step across to try and block shots/passes, usually find myself dragging my trailing leg across the turf toes down so that's going to take it's toll eventually.

Does lead me to look for some new turf trainers though, Nike's line up seems a bit of a mess these days since they dropped the 247 line, or whatever they were calling it, of devoted small sided footwear, I've no idea what's what now they've all mixed back in with the mercurial/magista/hypervenom names.

It's ridiculous that I now have to pay more than $75 for a top-of-the-line indoor/turf shoes. I used to be able to find NWOB or pre-owned(barely) first-gen bomba finales/lunar gatos for like $30-40 on eBay, and that wasn't even like 4-5 years ago.

I wish they were $75. Both adidas and nike's top end indoors run for $150 :(

Thoughts on using the Nike Mercurial X Finale TF on Indoor court? Nike AU don't have the colour i want in indoor court sole. Was wondering how much grip the turf would have on the wooden netball floors.

Could buy the IC sole'd shoes, however not too keen on gold shoes. Thoughts? Have a feeling i'll need to stick with IC soles...

Don't play in TF on parquet, unless you want to hurt yourself.

I'd recommend the nike hypervenomx finale tf. I've worn the previous nike indoor/tf models and these are the most comfortable i've ever worn. They also have great traction. I've been using them on ag and have had no problems so far even on misty/wet fields. I'd recommend them over all the $150 models.

ou might have gotten away with it for the older models but not the current Tf soleplate. The current one is awesome on turf but the little nubs would offer very little grip on flat surfaces.
I wouldn't recommend them over all the $150 models (if money wasn't an issue) as I really really really loved how flyknit felt on my elastico superflys.

but I'd definitely recommend it over most other indoor shoe models.

They did actually catch my eye when I had a quick look at the Bomba Finale alternatives the other day.

Is there any difference between the regular HV Finale and the HV Finale Street? Struggling to pick anything out other than colourscheme.

Could do with finding somewhere I could try them on really as I still have a few doubts, mainly the soleplate, looks a lot more like a traditional TF sole which can often be pretty thick and clunky compared to the more bespoke one that was on the Bomba Finale.

Does anyone know if the MagistaX Proximo stretch at all? I bought a pair thats a little tight & im debating if to keep or use a few games to see if they stretch. I dont wanna go up half a size for them to end up being too loose.

They all look the great and it's a very solid boot as well...I think the outsoles look fantastic when they are using the clear plastic.

Guessing they'll be more expensive than the standard Premier?

How does the Premier run vs. Legend V? I've got the Totti's in a 9 and they're perfect, although when I've tried on other V's the sizing seems a bit off in comparison. Currently using the Academy pack Vapors but I can't resist the white/blue premier, had the original Legend I in that colourway.

White and blue is one of my favorite color combos...they nearly identical in length as the standard Legend V. Not sure on the Totti though, they might be larger fitting if they are Bosnia or Italy made. The European made Nike models tend to run longer than the Asian models.

Are sock hypervenoms true to size? I wore a 6 in magista and they fit pretty much perfectly but a 6 in a Superfly was a bit on the small size. Any advice would greatly received.

Do you mean stock hypervenoms? Are you asking about the 1st or 2nd gen? My hypervenom 1 fit true to size. Compared to my superfly that are about .25 of a size too big. Negligible really though. Besides, don't you always get size 6, regardless of the make/model?

Sorry I meant the second gen - thought people would see that when I mentioned the sock. The first gen fitted me fine in a size 6. I do get a size 6 most of the time in all boots you are correct but i've had a lot of trouble with my big toe joint since injuring it about year ago so was wondering about going up half a size.
