I've got a question for Nike Fuel Band users ..... Is anyone else's band really temperamental when it syncs to the iPhone/ipad app? Mine is very hit and miss. It says that its sync'd and that the bluetooth has found the device but they just won't pair. Anyone else have this problem? It's not the end of the world as i actually prefer seeing the stats and stuff on my computer as it seem a bit more accurate but i'd still like to be able to use the app from time to time. I've tried all the trouble shooting Nike have suggested and no luck. Do you guys have any tips or is it just one of those things thats great when it does work but is super annoying when it doesn't? If anyone would rather DM and answer so not to go off topic thats cool with me. appleCORR
I personally haven't had really any issues with the app. As long as you have the Bluetooth on your phone always on, you shouldn't have too many syncing issues. But every now and then it doesn't detect so I usually press the button on the fuelband and refresh the app. If that still doesn't work the you might try deleting the app and reinstall. On a different note, has anyone tried the Nike Ordem ball? I haven't really seen any reviews on it and was just wondering if anyone had any experiences with it.
someone has more info on this? http://www.footyheadlines.com/2014/04/white-gold-nike-cristiano-ronaldo-boot.html
I wore the yellow HV today - have to say they have a crazy shade of yellow on the top of the boot, its almost gold like in the flesh. Much better close up than from a distance. Still not 100% sold on these boots there is something about them I just can't place my finger on but I do like them. I gave all those a go and it was still being temperamental so I just deleted it off my phone and think I'm going to use it from my macbook as its easier it navigate anyhow. BTW, how long does your battery last? Nike say 4 days but I've seen a lot of reviews saying its only 2. appleCORR
Wow ... yours last a long time. I did get mine second hand so I guess its probably been used quite a lot before I got my hands on it. I have to say I'm impressed, In principle its just a really posh pedometer and who knows what Nike Fuel point are exactly but its certainly one hell of a motivational tool I have to say. appleCORR
ya, I really believe it lasts that long because i don't sync it everyday via bluetooth. The more times i sync it the shorter the batter life is so i usually do it every couple of days to track progress
Looks good - you'll have to let us know how you get on with them. Thanks for all the Fuel Band advice after about half a day (well just more) the first quarter of my battery seems to go down but after that it doesn't go down anymore - guess i just need to check how long it actually stays charged for when I have the chance to charge it when it runs low. appleCORR
Regarding toots boots, Do some research you can get the same kit for less £££ that contains the same stuff, I did my CTR elites and saw them on ebay not long ago still blacked out fine. Boots look great though!
Once I bought it I did think to my self, I bet I could have bought this for a fiver haha. It's done the trick though so I'm not too fussed.
Do you mean like buying the chemicals separately from a website that specializes in leather dying? I was interested in blacking out a pair of boots, but the price of their kit is a little high.
No, I just went to a shoe smith and brought a synthetic leather dye kit for like £3 or something( it was a while ago now) It came with a sponge/gloves/primer/dye and finish water proof coating
Haha, yeah we both love the phenomenon but not brothers, just collectors who happen to share the same love!
Sometimes I see blackouts with the soleplate left in the original colour and think they look a bit half, baked - but on yours they look ace, @rooster ! I think it's that Total Crimson pop off the black; reminds me of a couple of the best Bomba Finale I colourways.
Going to Nike & Adidas outlets at Cheshire Oaks in about 30 mins; any good FG's to look out for? Kinda wanna pair for playing on the 3G and solid grass over the summer! Thanks
There's probably a few to choose from! The Hypervenoms have been out a year, so you can probably expect the two launch colourways to be in there. I'd say those, the Tiempos and the Premier are your best bets for a plate that will rock the 3G and FG.
Have you ever been before? Don't get you're hopes up... sometimes its a gold mine, other times( more often then not) its lower end or tiny sizes.
Thanks lads! They had the Vapor IX's in a few colorways, HV SG (Orange), Legend IV's, Laser II (Red Size 6), CTR Maestri's etc. (Ask if you want more details like sizes and colours). But, I found 2 gems... White/Green Legend Elite's for £87.00 (SG) and a Nike Maxim ball (White/Blue & Green) for £21 from £95! I've wanted some Elite's for so long and had to grab 'em... even though I wanted FG boots lol. Will post pics later.
