No worries. Dependant on size the lower the size the lower the number usually.

Noob-bob I think he just got his description slightly off :)

You should be able to send those back - are you sure you didn't tread on something on the pitch though? that just looks quite a 'deep' hole in the sole of the boot for a split, unless you made it worse by bending the boots.

You just need to get in touch with Nike (doesn't matter where you are in the world) and i'm pretty sure they will send you information about sending the boots back.

The date should be on the tongue.

I sent a pair of Mango Vapors a couple weeks back, had the same exact thing happen to mine. You should be able to get a return from it depending on how the returns system works wherever you are.

So I recently bought a pair of Hypervenoms off soccercorner.com. Wore them once in my backyard and decided they werent for me and planned to return them. However the "hypervenom" writing on the insole has come off from just ONE light use outside. Beside that they look BRAND NEW, since they are. Do you guys think they would give me any trouble if I tried returning them?

    You can try .....

It's a bit naughty to wear the boot outside and kick a ball around in them and then think 'yeah don't want these' you should just wear them around the house a few times and make your mind up them. I mean, would you want to be the person who thinks they have brought a brand new pair of boots only to get the pair you decided to have a kick about in.

They will be able to tell that you've worn them i think, especially with the insole. The worst that can happen is they just give you the boots back.

Next time just wear them indoors so you can feel how they fit your foot then you won't have this problem.

I'm thinking about getting the bomba finale ii, have you tried using them on hard grass or just regular grass to see how they perform? If they aren't too bad on regular grass or hard ground I will pick up a pair.

I'm with you, I was really excited for the HV to be released right from seeing the promo pictures i thought, this could be a Nike boot that I'd actually wear, but as the release date has got closer, Im not feeling them. They look good on the pitch (I like the green colourway better) but they just don't match up in person. They upper isn't great .... I'm just a bit disappointed.

Soccer.com is amazing with customer service. I bought a pair of hybrid adizero's and trained in them for 1-2 hours and lost 3 metal studs. I shipped them back saying I was not happy and they refunded me with no questions asked. Definitely give it a go.

So ive contacted nike, and they've asked me to return them the shoes with a proof of purchase (e.g. receipt) However, as ive purchased them over a year ago, i can't seem to find the receipt. Will the shoe box be acceptable as a proof of purchase?

if you paid with a card then the fee being debited from your account should be proof, just send them a copy of a bank statement where it lists that transaction

As far as i remember you dont need proof of purchase if the boots are broken or have issues.

I got a pair of HV through in the post last night in the launch colourway. I've only tried them on in the house but i quite like them. The last is definately wider than a vapor (or the material is so much more stretchy is wraps to my foot more) but they mid and forefoot is very comfortable. With socks on i find the heel cup a bit slippy, altho barefoot i dont. Will be interesting to see how they perform in training, but i actually like them and dare i say it prefer the feel of them to all of the vapors i've tried since the IV.
The upper is quite thin and i like the low toe box and flatter forefoot as it suits the shape of my foot, so i think its for me but not sure it will suit everyone

Recently purchased a pair of Nike Trequartista and played in them for the first time on a 3G pitch last night...
My review is simple, they are awesome. I've previously had the Maestri, and can honestly say I find the Trequartista a better boot (after the first wear, anyway).

The sizing seems to be better - truer to size, as I found the Maestri tighter fitting. Can't notice any major difference between the two when it comes to soleplate or upper, and I actually find the insole of the Trequartista more cushioned and supportive.

I'm sure there might need to be a review concerning the longevity of the boot, quality and performance wise, but thought that anyone looking for a good quality boot without paying top end price then this might help you :)
