I know this may have been asked before but does anyone have these boots (or even last years 2002 R9 Chromes) and if so are they good? does the chrome look like it'll chip off? Thanks
I had them for a few days and sent them back because they caused a lot of stud pressure on my feet(it's funny my cinder black vapors didn't hurt at all), but the chrome will not chip off its not anything like the chrome ball that is out, the chrome color is real close to the silver and red vapors from 2002 but just a tad more refelective. The only thing is the chrome seems a bit more slick then the black nike skin when striking the ball and causes a bit of an odd spin at first, I am guessing you would just need to get used to striking the ball in them for proper results. Thanks for your help. Yeh I was actually deciding on either the chrome or white, my only concern with the white is they may be more difficult to clean but spose the chromes will be too. You're the footwear guru Jc18star so have u heard/seen anything bout the new Lotto Zhero's that Seedorf wears? one site claims they're 295grams while another site claims 225grams....
The white come clean real easy nikeskin is about the quickest cleaning upper on a shoe you just need to wipe it down and and its good to go. I know the zhero is Lottos answer to the vapor it is about 8oz which i think is int he 225 gram range I know lotto tends to make a wider fitting boot so it might be the best thing for someone who wants the minimal style of the vapor with a wider foot. Nike id (the custom design program) is about to put the vapor out as a shoe you can personalize at the end of this month, now there will be various color options and you will be able to have your name put somewhere on the shoe, I am hoping they are going to offer a few different outsole options one with a wider fit i am gussing would be their biggest request.
