Vapor 3 for sale on ebay - real?

This ship from asia - seller claims them to be vapor 3's.

Do you think they're real?

is it me or have the vaprs and talarias switched looks

Old vapors- heel counter + diferent stud tip color
Old talarias- heel ounter +1 solid outsole color

New vapors- no heel counter + 1 solid outsole color
New talarias- external heel counter + different color tips

Has anyone noticed this or is it just me????

it says at the bottom of the page they are talaria 3's and the size

They are actually american football cleats. I made the same mistake awhile back. Look at the toe cleat, that is only on pointy ball shoes. Plus, the Vaps don't have a heel counter.

Made the same mistake myself.

They aren't the talaria or anything soccer for that matter.

Actually they ARE Talarias, the ones you made were talking about a bit ago were a completly different shoe.

I think you are right. From the angle that the picture is taken at, I thought they had a toe cleat.

Anyone know why they put an external heel counter on the talarias but removed it from the vapors?

because they dont want talarias to be as light as the vapors. if talarias were as light as the vapors, then noone would spend an extra $100 to get the vapors

Actually, the vapor III do have a heel counter. It's just not as visible as it is in the talarias because it's covered by the outer leather. The main difference between the two is that the vapors are made of a really light synthetic called "NikeSkin", while talarias are made of a different, but still light, synthetic which makes them less expensive and a little bit heavier. If I remember correctly, the current talarias only weigh about 0.3 ounces more than the vapors, so I don't think there will be much difference between the new vapors and talarias either.

what i dont get is if theres only a 0.3 oz difference, then why do people pay $100 extra to get the vapors?

I know that they have a heel counter, but I wanted to know why they didn't use an EXTERNAL heel counter like on the talaria.

 

whats with the studs? it looks like theres one in a nother. is that supposed to create some kind of shock absorption or is it just supposed to look goog?
