Cool thread. It probably belongs in the "Player" section though. I would say Puma, followed by Adidas. Then Nike. Umbro isn't bad either, but PUMA is the best.
I would have to pick nike b/c i have a pair of Talaria's or FakeVapors as my teamates call them but there still a really good boot b/c they are very light, then adidas just b/c of all the hype about the predators and such, then puma b/c puma boots look like they are designed by people who design american automobiles, big and tank like and they seem like theyd be really heavy.
the old Kelme Tureno's of 4 years ago are the best shoes ever made. My Valsports I use now are also amazing. I had a pair of the black and green Puma cellerators and they were also great. I personally liek the classic boot. Thats just a preference though.
I've studied soccer shoes for years now, and I've used many types of shoes, I've tried on many pairs. The best pair of shoes I've ever had are............... Lotto Stadio Elites. The kangaroo leather on these shoes is amazing. It's so soft and comfortable. It molds right around your foot beautifully. Other great shoes Umbro Speciali Adidas Predator Adidas Copa's are very reliable Asics Espinale (nesta's shoe. not the tigerore) Shoes I dislike are: Kelme's.......I had a pair of kelme's once and i was very dissatisfied. The $120 pair of shoes felt like 30 dollar shoes. Puma Kings........I can't stand these. they break in like garbage, and never get soft. They are so stiff. The shoes I'm wearing now are the lotto vento's. I'm wearing these because I was very happy with the lotto stadio's so i tried the vento. If I'm not happy with the vento, i'm gettin myself another pair of Stadio's or Asics I hope I was some help. Once again, I recommend the Lotto's
Nike then Diadora for outdoor and Adadias and Nike for indoor in that order. The lotto staido's are great as well to those who mentioned those boots
my alltime favorite boot has always been the Umbro Speciali...theres not another boot that has been made better. Then it is Adidas...I own a pair, 2 actually, of the mania's and have no complaints.
adidas. theyve been very good to me. i left them earlier this year to try a pair of kelmes, that was a mistake. quality and durability wasnt close. so ive got adidas supernovas right now, my alltime favorite shoe as of now. id be interested in trying a pair of nikes, though i have doubts about microfibre. no stores in my area carry them so i may never know.
Well id have to say that kappa makes a really really nice shoe.I got a older pair of squadras and love them.They give great touch for regular leather are are very comfortable.But im leanin towards tryin a pair of adidas predator manics..any 1 have or try these?
I have 4 pairs of Nike's The brasillia, 2 90's (zoom SG and total FG) and zoom international. The one thing I have noticed is the toe box seems to small and when I go up to the next size I slide around. I have an old cheap pair of molded adidas, not sure of model, that work the best for me. I've been looking the Puma for my next pair because they seem to have the best fit in the store but I'll wait till the adi's fall apart.
