    Hey,

I was just surfing some sites and came across a Nigata Albirex in the Singapore League.

Was just curious... Is this the (B team/ Reserves) of the Japanese Nigata Albirex, or is this team composed of players hired from Singapore by the Main Albirex Club( Kind of like Chivas USA in the MLS)?

    Thanks

It's a sort of development program for Japanese players to get some league experience in Singapore. Not too sure about this, but the players may or may not come from Albirex itself. Also, many players have left the Albirex setup once their time is over, either staying in Singapore with another S-League club, moving to other countries, or joining another J-League club.

No Singaporeans hired by them though, all Japanese players.

Singapore has a big Japanese community, by the way.

Yea... it's exactly like Chivas USA except there is no domestic player rules (or international player cap). In S-league, there is also few other clubs from other countries as well.

    Hi,

I am from singapore and players Albrex singapore are recruited from Japan only and are from various J-clubs in japan. Once the season is over, the players most likely will move on, either return to japan or stay with some S-league clubs. Some infact make it to J-league first team (but not common) and some ply their trade in europe. In all this team is to develop potential young ****** players.
