I think that "just sign him" and "immediately if not sooner" will split the vote. Same with "after game 3" and "before the Cup". For a while, I was worried that the Krafts (or Sunil) would be stupid enough to let him go. The chances of that happening are lessening by the hour.

I think Nicol should be worrying about the upcoming games, not his contract. So they should just tell him they'll talk about it all after the season. Maybe tell him they want him but don't want to distract him and they'll discuss terms after we win the Cup.
