LOL. I missed this one. I don't know if we really want to go there. The history of the poor old Shooting Stars is not something to be overly proud of. I felt bad for the players. They worked hard and had some good games but it was pretty tough to play in MLG in front 200 fans. db
You old-timers and your Blizzard, lol. They died and went to heaven, the name was corny too. Lets found a new tradition, Inter Toronto, AFC Toronto, Toronto Athletic. As for the poster who thinks Toronto already has a football club, I posit that "football" is a misnomer for the game played by the Argos. Call it Gridiron if you like, but "Football" is the elegant game played by athletes trying to convey a ball into a net using their FEET. The game governed by FIFA also predates North American gridiron by several decades too.
Just as well Luis Racanagua doesn't post here. Blizzard here Blizzard there Blizzard every...[blank]...where Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na!
Did you see the flick Harold and Kumar go to White Castle? "Clap! Clap! The Blizzard everywhere!!!" LOL
Sort of. You can find him over on the Voyageurs group. Give him a read. That'll tell you all you need to know. db
