    LOL. I missed this one. I don't know if we really want to go there. The history of the poor old Shooting Stars is not something to be overly proud of. I felt bad for the players. They worked hard and had some good games but it was pretty tough to play in MLG in front 200 fans.

    You old-timers and your Blizzard, lol. They died and went to heaven, the name was corny too. Lets found a new tradition, Inter Toronto, AFC Toronto, Toronto Athletic. As for the poster who thinks Toronto already has a football club, I posit that "football" is a misnomer for the game played by the Argos. Call it Gridiron if you like, but "Football" is the elegant game played by athletes trying to convey a ball into a net using their FEET. The game governed by FIFA also predates North American gridiron by several decades too.

    Football is a sport played on foot. That's it. Hell, even basketball is football.
