SO I was looking at my players depressed over how many of them are hurt for lengthy periods of time I notice that one of my 18 year old striker trainees had popped to solid. I completely missed it at the training update. I even use hattrick buddy.

Whatever! This is truly a nice development. :D

    Cool.

I have never done this with skills but I went a day before I noticed two of my players had experience pops.

Sometimes you have to change the calendar feature in buddy to make sure you are looking at updates through Friday.

Often I check and it is only showing thru Thursday and doesn't show the change yet.

I had an unexpected experience pop this week too. That whole experience thing is wacky.

When you get your team, let us know what the team name is.

As long as you don't have Thierry Henry on your team I will be glad to help you out ;)

See my omnibus post in the stickied Tips thread.

You shouldn't expect to put up the kind of ratings a nine month old team like mine puts up. "Terrible" is relative... if you start out in a tough division V series then you will likely have a difficult start, lose a lot of games, and demote. You could also start with a good team draw in a weak series in V or VI and get off to a good start, it's impossible to say in advance.

Speaking of surprises, I just realized that one of my inner mids popped last week while I was gone, he went from inad to passable, and he has passable passing and passable stamina as well. Good player for me.:)
