They have a poll going at the official Everton Club Site, "Should Everton make moves to keep Brian McBride at Goodison on a longer term basis?" So far, voters are saying yes at a rate of 85% to 15% no. Not too bad, of course, who wouldn't want a striker that was pumping in 1.5 goals a game. It's just good to see McHead doing so well across the pond. Any success is really just good news for the rest of our guys. Do you all think there is a pretty good chance Everton works hard to keep him around? Or will the MLS keep hold of him?
Thanks graywolfe - We discuss these issues on Yanks Abroad. Everton's coach has gone on record to say that McBride is just cover during suspensions and injuries and that it is very unlikely they will buy him as he is older than players they are looking to acquire.
