That is a nice addition to soccer in my home state. I am still wondering how/when Singer Field will be replaced. From what I understand it was bulldozed as part of the new Fishercats baseball stadium. Are they planning on just playing at high school fields or is something bigger in the works?

Here's a quote from the article that was linked to. It looks like their goal is to build their own stadium. ;)

One of the main benefactors of this complex will be the Phantoms Youth Programs who participate in the United Soccer League’s Super Y-League. All teams will be able to train and meet year round with full time coaches, meeting rooms, and offices. In addition, the long term goal is to create a full outdoor stadium for both the Men’s Phantoms who were recently in the national semi-final of the USL’s Pro Soccer League, and the Lady Phantoms of the USL’s W-League.

This facility isn't too far away from Seacoast United. May start to draw away some talent...????

Familiar with the area and Seacoast. Great idea for the state since the majority of the state population is in the south central part of the state. Its tough for Seacoast to draw from that area because its too far away. Seacoast built some new outdoor fields closer to the center of the state, that might help. Great coaches on the boys side but they seem to neglect the girls side. Seacoast has a good grass roots program and the Phantoms are just trying to get started. The have virtually no girls side at all, but the boys are pretty strong. Good coaches over at the Phantoms who are involved with a lot of training progams in several communities. Not sure who has the deep pockets to front the money for the Phantoms Stadium. Unfortunaltely both teams suffer from a small talent pool in NH. Lots of little teams fighting over the few elite players. ODP is mediocre with a poor draw of top talent and stale coaching. Maybe someday they'll get over the politics and get their programs going. my 2 cents.
