I think I'll find myself up there this weekend and there is potentially USA games on Saturday at 11:30 am or Sunday at 7:00 am.

There is no TV or internet where I'm going.

Anyone have any suggestions up that way?

There has got to be a bar in town that will show this. I would like to know as well as my wife and I will be in Big Bear on Saturday as well for an open house at a Camp.

I have a friend in Big Bear. I'll e-mail her right now.

I do know that there are several bars/restaurants along Village Dr. that show sports. I sat in one last fall and watched a USC football game. I think it was Desi's on Village Dr. in downtown Bear Bear. But I'm not sure.

I'd call them and see if any are opening early for the game.

If my friend gets back to me I'll pass along any info.

I didn't go in this place but I remember it. Yeah - this is probably your best bet.

My biggest fear is the Sunday 7am game.

More reason then ever for the USA to WIN the group tomorrow. That way our match will be Saturday at 11:30 am.

I tried Sandy earlier today but the phone rang and rang. Will try again later.

Go here. They are huge Galaxy fans. I was at my cabin on July 11th(Chivas away) last year and I needed a place to watch the game on FSC. I called around and they said they would have it on.

I showed up and they had every TV in the bar on the Galaxy game except one. The owner was sitting there cursing the TV when we looked sloppy and jumping for joy when we scored. He actually got mad at me when I told him that I had tickets to the game but I decided to go up to big bear with some friends instead. The barmaid was telling me how she loved Bryan Jordan and if I ever ran into him down at a game I should let him know he had an easy lay up in Big Bear(from what I remember she was a decent looker). I did meet him at the USA-England match and I forgot to tell him. Oh well.

They have many beers on tap and they serve food(nachos, mozzarella sticks, potato skins etc...). I don't think it's quite the hip spot like Chad's Place but everyone there was super nice. The group of people that were there didn't seem to be much into soccer but they knew Donovan and maybe a few other players just because the bar seems to show the games all the time.

    Great place.
