Not Galaxy related, but I thought people would be interested in this very long profile of Carlos Ruiz from the Dallas Observer. It's very revealing...the poverty he grew up in, the promise he had, his own troubled private life. He seems like he's treated his wife and family like dirt. Hope he becomes more stable and does what's right.
That was long, but very much worth it. You think you know a player, then an article like this comes out and shows you a million things that you didn't know. Hopefully Carlos has seen the light

Well, there's a lot of bad stuff that he's done, and some stuff that we don't know about. Either way, it shows that athletes are normal people with their own problems...I hope for the best for him and his family.
