Have your say on the following criteria: Champions: Man United Top 4: United, City, Chelsea, Arsenal Player of the Year: Rooney / RVP Manager of the Year: Lambert -Villa Golden Boot: Aguero Biggest Surprise Team: Aston Villa Most Disappointing: Tottenham First Manager Sacked: Hughes -QPR Bottom 3: Wigan, Reading, Swansea
I predict that every team will play 38 league games. I will watch as many as I can and enjoy almost all of them. I can tell you, I am really looking forward to watching United's new Japanese midfielder (name escapes me) to see how how quickly he is able to fit in and contribute.
Name is Shinji Kagawa, like his play and hope he does well, but don't really care for united so I'm torn. Have a few neighbors from Liverpool so I tend to follow them more than others. Their support at the moment aren't expecting much, but would love to have a good season. I go to every Galaxy game I can, but I miss waking up on a Saturday morning to a good game, can't wait for the Europeans to start.
How dare you! Though given Tottenham have one senior striker 3 days before kick-off I can’t say I disagree.
Been a long time EPL fan so here is my prediction (7-16 is a toss up really): 1. Man City 2. Man U 3. Chelski 4. Arsenal 5. Liverpool 6. Tottenham 7. Aston Villa 8. Newcastle 9. Everton 10. Sunderland 11. West Brom 12. QPR 13. Stoke City 14. West ham 15. Fulham 16. Reading 17. Wigan 18. Southhampton 19. Swansea 20. Norwich This could all be very different though after the transfer window. I expect Liverpool to better their squad, Fulham to lose Dempsey, and Villa to get a few more players to get some depth.
I don't think Southampton will be regulated this year either. They've put together a really nice off-season. I think the signings of Jay Rodriguez, Nathaniel Clyne, and (soon) Matt Phillips are all great young players that will prove their worth this year in the EPL. Plus I think the signing of former Rangers FC captain Steven Davis was a savvy move too, not only is he in his prime right now but because of his intangibles as well. Reading, Wigan, and Norwich are my guesses for regulation.
If I had to throw 4 or 5 clubs into the rele mix they would be Wigan: there is no more skin on their teeth Swansea: Rodgers system kept them in it last season/ havent upgraded/lost coach QPR: although they will spend to stay up. West Brom: new manager, no additions. classic yo-yo team. Reading: Their style of play benefited in playing in the championship. dont feel it translates to the prem.
There is only 1 prediction, Glory glory Man United, Glory glory Man United oh when the reds come marching in! 2012-13 EPL champions as for the rest, It doesn't matter about the rest.
thats great... thats why I enjoy so much about the EPL. The HAVES and the HAVE NOTS. Its like two seasons wrapped into one... one for glory, one for survival... makes it amazing from start to finish... especially when Arsenal gag all over the place and Arsene waves his hands everywhere
Never had an EPL team, just always watched whatever was on Tv. Now because of the Dempsey signing and the Keane connection, I think ill become a Spurs fan They probably beat Liverpool...also Wenger finally steps down (too bold??)
be prepared for years of disappointment and underachieving and you'll fit in fine, with that being said COYS!!
well being a longtime Kings fan, I know what it feels like to suffer and now I know how it feels to get rid of all that suffering and its the greatest thing ever.
