    Yeah, but on MapQuest it's shown as a football stadium.

    It looks like several rows of seats have been added in the front, since it used to be basically 3 levels. I'm assuming that they lowered the field a bit, since the old configuration had the seats that are now 10 or so rows up were pretty close to the field. This also covers the area where the track used to be.

    So where is the new stadium supposed to go, next door where the Sports Arena is now? Is there enough room for a stadium comparable in footprint to the modern MLS stadiums? Seems like it could fit, but they'd have to get rid of the trees and other space in the area, like the park directly east of the Coliseum.

    Just saw that. Current dimensions 110x70yds. They could even move it a bit east and make it wider. Longer too if they didn't have the concrete pad for the fan stands they add for football games.

    It is going right where the Sports Arena is now. It will be demolished.

    If that works, great! Just eye-balling it, usually indoor arenas don't require as large of a footprint, but if they can fit it there, good for them...
