NEWSFLASH: THE BENGALS WILL NOT GET THIER ASS KICKED THIS WEEK, not by Bye Week United.

The Fish will still beat Buffalo even without 1/2 their offense. The D will find a way to slow Drew and company.

St. Louis will continue thier resurgence? with a home win over Seattle. They'll score enough points to overcome the Seahawks.

The Ravens beat the Jags at home. No Lewis, but likely no Brunell.

I look for Kansas City to rise to the occasion and trip up the Broncos at Arrowhead. Priest Holmes won't be slowed too much.

Oakland comes back and beats San Diego at home.

Philly beats Tampa Bay at the Vet, just like they always do whenever it matters. McNabb won't rip apart the Bucs' D, but will do enough for a big home win.

Arizona comes off the bye week and entertains Dallas. The Cowboys O still sucks, Jake the Snake only does sometimes. Go with the Cards.

Chicago should beat the Lions, even without Jim Miller. They can play a wee bit of D even banged up, Detroit can't. Who's the unnamed player Matt Millen went off on?

Green Bay in my 14 confidence pointer absolutely kicks Washington's asses all over Lambeau. The Pack are on a roll after struggles the first two weeks.

The headed for 4-12 Panthers lose again, this time in Atlanta, Vick or no Vick. The Falcons are better overall, and it will show.

In a shootout, the J E T S Just End The Seasons should give their fans something to cheer about. Minny is still in shambles, I don't care if they won last week.

Cleveland will edge the Texans, who will be very competitive on the road but fall just short.

Pittsburgh, fired up by a jacked up home crowd, will disrupt Peyton Manning plenty. Besides, I'm still not sold on Indy defensively. A win for the Steelers as they start to find themselves.

Finally, San Francisco at New Orleans, the game of the day. I look for the Saints to shut up Terell Owens, Aaron Brooks to step it up, and NO to go 6-1.

I thought that I heard that the Bye Week was favored by 3 1/2 over the Bengals?

I hope that GB kills Washington. Will make a good day for me. MLS Cup at 1pm. Packer game at 3:15. That and hoping for a Viking and Bear loss.

All I know is that it should be a good week for my fantasy team. Ricky Williams at home vs. Buffalo, who gave up 100 yards rushing to Moe Williams, and Ray Lucas at QB means the Fins will run all day. A fully healthy Curtis Martin against the pathetic Minnesota defense. Brett Favre vs. the pourous Redskins secondary. Points, points, and more points for my 5-1 first-place team. :)

My only issue is whether to play Edgerrin James (at Pittsburgh Monday night) or Jamal Lewis (home vs. Jax). Right now I'm leaning toward Lewis because of the bad Jacksonville offense, which means that if Baltimore gets the lead they'll want to run to protect it. Anyone?

The Chargers defeat the Raiders in Oakland in OT. The Chargers now lead the AFC West. They deserved to win, but I hope the NFL changes their rule about OT, so that each team gets one offensive possession.

How can players like Edgerrin James and Ricky Williams wear a dang helmet when they have big ass dreadlocks? That just has to be uncomfortable and hot when wearing a helmet.
