Anyone else watching this? They just had to stop the football game for about 10 minutes because someone sprayed something on or near the eagles bench. The entire team moved off of the bench, and then the game restarted after the official came out and said it was safe. Apprarently there was a fight and the police sprayed pepper and it drifted over the field. Odd. The 9/11 implications were scary there for a minute. But anyway. Back to the Skins getting their a$$es handed to them.
I am. You're correct about it being scary for a moment. Until the announcers started talking, I thought there was some sort of scrape on the field. Let's hope nothing else happens in the last 2:45.
I didn't watch the game, but on the news this morning, as I was waiting for my ride to work, the local yahoos did a follow-up story about the arrests outside of Buffalo, then led into a commercial with images of the players milling around as the newsdork said, "tense moments at last night's NFL game as a gas-like substance blew onto the field." Obviously they have to try to keep people watching, but that was over the line. Of course, it was the same channel that once did a teaser, "Toxic Spill Narrowly Averted... " in my town. Turns out it was averted because the truck that fell over was hauling corn syrup. but onto the important stuff: the 'Skins getting their aforementioned asses handed to them.
