It is one way to put it. The other is that Barca was so bad in the first half of the battle that a one-goal win over PSG - a respectable opponent, but not one of the very biggest teams - is seen as something worthy of a place in the history books. As for Neymar's role, he played a big role definitely, but he did nothing alone. Many were **** in Paris, many were great in Camp Nou.
As soon as the media in Brazil started talking about Neymar's maturity level, I knew they were jumping the gun. Neymar still has some self control problems. 2 stupid YCs and a possible suspension for clapping at the linesman.
I'm kinda torn on this one cause even though I like Neymar a hell of a lot, Ronaldo and not even Ronaldinho has the silliness on the pitch at Barca at his age when they were there!! Ronaldo was even younger than Neymar and Ronaldinho's issues were off the pitch!! But he's 25 and time is still on his side!!
It seems he also got a 2 match ban. He will miss the clasico. Neymar picks up far too many yellow cards and suspensions.
Yeh, but France Football nominated Neymar as the best this year, and generally the Balon D'or follows France Football's pick.
We don't know that for sure. The appeal may limit to only 1 match. I doubt the court will go along with the removal of a top ticket draw to a worldwide audience, for an overkill of discipline.

1 game suspension would be just the red card. That means the dissent is thrown off an ignored. Would be quite the turn around.
I have to agree. I like him a lot and he definitely improved, but still has some self control issues.
Really sad. The French league is not even visible on any channel, not BEINsport, not FOX, not ESPN. The only time we will be able to see Neymar is during Champions League, and Selecao. This move is really surprising to me. Almost 1/3 of a BILLION dollars to take Neymar out of Barca. UNFUKINREAL. I could never dream of so much money for a player. The best of luck. @Mengao86 - YEP, we need a new thread. NEYMAR'S JOURNEY CONTINUES AT PSG.
According to http://worldsoccertalk.com/where-to-watch-ligue-un-on-us-tv-and-internet/ Where to watch Ligue Un on US TV Here in America, beIN SPORTS has exclusive television rights to Ligue 1 matches through 2018. On a typical weekend during the Ligue 1 season, every Paris Saint-Germain game is shown on beIN SPORTS (or beIN SPORTS Connect, if there’s a conflict with La Liga). If you’re a PSG supporter, then you can watch almost every game during a season live. For fans of other French clubs, most of the matches are available via beIN SPORTS Connect instead as well as rarely on television (unless the opponent is PSG).
According to Bleacher Report, Neymar will earn 450 million British Pounds for 5 years, which is about US $120 million/year! That is more than the NBA Stephen Curry $200 million for 2 yrs... (the highest NBA contract)
Curry did not sign a 2 year 200 million dollar contract. He signed a 5 year extension for 201 million.
