Best back 4 in world football. matuidi and verratti kno their roles and win balls. cavani will run his ass of , better than most people think. Looks legit to me. Wbu? I don't know why people are saying they can't win the champions lg.
If this WC 2022 ambassador deal with Neymar for 300m is true, and that's how he basically paid the buyout clause, I can't see how this transfer won't explode in PSGs face at some point in the future.
Matuidi is pretty average and is a backup for Rabiot and Verratti, he might even be gone before September. I still think they need a backup for Cavani and Fabinho to start over Motta but essentially the team is ready to compete for the UCL
NEYMAR fuking killing it !!! 2 goals and 2 assists in his home debut with the second goal candidate for goal of the year. Love it !!!!
Neymar playing fantastic second game against St Etienne!!!! He is the maestro of PSG... He will no doubt do tremendous job for seleção.... se Deus quiser....
Thought he was very wasteful. And back to some of his old habits of holding the ball for too long and looking for fouls. Basically what I don't like about him playing this role.
I thought he was average in comparison to his first two games but he had a hand in all three goals. I agree with @celito I hate that dribbling backwards looking for fouls. The one aspect I hate about Neymar game.
Neymar being a brat wanting to take a PK today trying to take it from Cavani. They need to be adults and resolve it behind the scenes instead of making a scene during a game.
Also saw Neymar do a blatant kick on a player from behind after losing the ball which the ref called a late foul. He hasn't changed much. Tite better keep his eyes open next year. Neymar better not screw up again with some cheap shit.
Neymar still behaves like a spoiled brat.... compare to Pele, and many other star Brasilian players, who always played seriously and professionally from the age of 15...
No Neymar knows what he's doing!! He didn't pull that shit at Barca cause he knew who was in charge!! PSG doesn't have a strong football history, a major team leader, and a coach that will put his foot down!!
this is from livesoccertv dot com : " Most of Neymar's team-mates at PSG are not happy with certain clauses on the Brazilian ace's contract with Les Parisiens. Being the world's most expensive football player has its perks, but those benefits might not be welcomed by all of your team-mates. According to an investigation by Le Parisien, Neymar's contract with PSG includes a number of privileges that raised a few eyebrows among other players. Those perks include having two physiotherapists available for him exclusively, or being able to carry his stuff inside a bag with his personal brand or sponsor, while the rest of PSG's squad is forced to carry their personal belongings in the bags provided by the club. The list of privileges doesn't stop there, as Neymar can't be forced to participate in defensive tasks, while his team-mates are not allowed to tackle him during the team's regular training sessions. Despite having some of PSG's oldest members protesting about how the team's execs have decided to pamper Neymar, the Brazilian has apparently signed for another list of perks for the 2018-19 season, which include being the team's official penalty taker, contrary to what has happened this season. The document reveals that the Brazilian will be forced to share penalty-taking duties with Edinson Cavani for the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign, which has been a matter of controversy in recent weeks."
I'd be more pissed with the way he is playing more than anything. Players minding about what bags they use to carry stuff ... that's complete nonsense. Maybe Neymar has an endorsement contract. If the negotiated that in his PSG deal, I guess more power to him.
I could see players having some sort of resentment towards Neymar if he is getting preferential treatment.
The French media has really been going at Neymar. Now rumors that he wasn't really injured for the last game and just didn't want to play.
Neymar is not really doing any favors with his antics!! It's like he's reverting right back to that spoiled, petulant, little brat he was at Santos!!
hey guys, in the post-conference where neymar was sitting with his coach at minute 0:42, was neymar kissing the Coach's hand? Is that a common gesture in Brazilian culture- as a gesture of respect towards elders, teachers, parents...etcs? I know Brazilians are predominantly catholics and do practice this type of gesture towards religious leaders, but didn't know it's applied to other respected figures. Curious to know, as this is a common gesture of respects in others cultures.
