Palermo back boss Gasperini

Struggling Palermo boss Gian Piero Gasperini has been told that his job is safe despite another defeat in Serie A.

The tactician, who replaced Giuseppe Sannino after Week 3, has failed torevitalise the Sicilian giants.
The 3-0 loss against Napoli on Sunday was their fifth in six games and fuelled talk that Gasperini could be axed.

“We will go ahead with Gasperini,” President Maurizio Zamparini stated on Monday. “He has my faith and that of the club.”

Its not the coaching its the players. Zampa needs to sign more and better players but he didn't in the summer and I doubt he will now.
