After Ballardini saved bizarrely last week (supposedly, after Zamparini texted him to let him know he was fired, Zampa got in a fight with Iachini and had to call Ballardini back and say he still had a job), it sounds like he was entirely checked out over an increasingly inevitable sacking.

Just curious to know, which coach in the last 10-15 years of the Serie A has had the same job for more than 5 years? I want to say Carlo Ancelotti at Milan but I can't think of many others.
Guidolin at Udinese had a long run. Not sure how many years but it was a change from his stint at Palermo. Gasperini has been at Genoa for a few years. Not sure if he has reached 5. He also had a long stint there previously before making a foolish move to Inter. Ventura is coming up on his 5th year at Torino.
LOL, Guidolin ....every time I think of him I think of Zampa getting rid of him and re-hiring him.....
Question: How can Guillermo Barros Schelotto coach Palermo without getting an UEFA and/or FIGC coaching badge? I mean he was a player with the Columbus Crew until 2011 and ended his first and only coaching stint with Lanús in Argentina so is he just a coach in name only? I'm not sure about the rest of Europe but I do know traditionally in Italy anyway, you need to acquire a badge to coach at every professional level.
That didn't last long..... Didn't I say the same thing when they hired him? You would think Zampa would have checked his UEFA coaching license papers out before hiring him.... Barros Schelotto leaves Palermo Schelotto, addio shock "È la legge, devo andare" Problemi per ottenere il patentino di allenatore: il tecnico argentino torna in patria ... Unless a miracle happens between now and the end of the season and/or either Verona, Carpi and Frosinone overtake Palermo Genoa, Samp and Udinese, Zampa has nothing to worry about.....
1/6- Ballardini coaches 1/10- Ballardini is basically a spectator, and the team is, for all intents and pursposes, coached by Sorrentino 1/17- Viviani coaches, as Schelotto has not arrived yet 1/23- Bosi coaches, as Schelotto's paperwork has not been approved 1/30- Tedesco coaches as the official person while Schelotto's paperwork is appealed 2/3- Tedesco coaches again 2/7- in a stunning turn of events, Tedesco coaches a third straight game 2/14- Bosi coaches, Tedesco retained as an assistant 2/21-??? In the last month, Palermo might as well have gone through 6 coaching changes.
