question for my fellow Xbox Live friends with multiple live accounts. I was wanting to get my 8 year old daughter set up on Live. Is the free Silver Xbox Live still an option? She want's to make her own gamertag for her games but I'm not wanting to pay for another Gold account.
Will it be on the xbox one? The same one you have your gold account on, General? If so she will get all the benefits of your gold account with no extra charge.
really? I thought in order to do that you'd have to get like a family account or something like that? So how do I do that? I'd have to get her an email account?
The old family plan on the 360; that was more expensive, was scrapped. Now they have friends and family. Which is only available on the xbox one. LINK not sure if your daughters profile will need a email address or not.
Pretty sure it will. I set my boys up with their own XBL GTs about a year ago or so - even though they still need mine for some of their saved games (haven't found a fix for that, yet) - and used Outlook.com to create free accounts for them.
yup, will you buy me one of those new OLED TV's, Dante? pleeeeaaassseeee. edit to add: if the price isn't crazy I'll be buying one. I like the idea of 360 games running better on the Scorpio and will gladly take an overall performance increase on all xbone games, I'm already looking at you Cities Skylines.
If most games are just getting a small boost by being upconverted I'll probably pass. If it turns out a lot of games start using the power available to them, I'll be tempted. We're getting to the point now where photo-realism is in our sights. Not this series of consoles, but in the next generation in 5 years or so? Possibility.
You know what, you are right. I just beat you in so many different games that I got all confused and accidently added that one to the list. Of course it has been so long since we last played and I've been training that I could totally beat you in NHL now.
Xbox Game Pass will officially launch June 1st but is up for Gold members to try free starting today. polygon link
tip: If you watched any E3 coverage on mixer this past year you may have gotten a free game or two. I didn't receive any notification but when I was looking in my ready to download list I found two titles I didn't purchase.
