Is the next game versus Poland in Poland or is there a game before that? I am already anxious for our next match!

I think so to but I am not sure, it is confirmed I think, it's on FIFA.com but there are also rumors of Norway and such, and I am not sure if they would be before Poland on March 26, I would imagine no 23's will be there, I think the finals are that weekend for Olmypic Qualifying. Assuming no U-23's and a largely Euro side, how about this for our squad: (I am sure some U-23's who don't go to qualifying will be in camp, but I have no room to speculate so will leave off all eligable players)

    --------------------Howard--------------------
    Cherundalo----Onyewu---Bocanegra----Bornstein
    ---------------------Clark----------------------
    ---------White------------------Lewis----------
    --------------------Donovan-------------------
    -----------Dempsey---------Johnson-----------

    Subs:
    Guzan
    Simek
    Demerit
    Beckerman
    Mapp
    Cooper

Looks good, wish we could slide Altidore in, but he's with the u-23's. Hopefully we get to see Johnson back, and he can actually do something, when was his last game with the nats?

    Poland is confirmed.

Ives reports that, "two other friendlies versus high quality opponents in May and June are in the works."

June looks like it could be a busy month with two European powers (Spain and ???) and our first WCQ.

This according to Sunil is our upcoming schedule:

"The March 26 friendly at Poland is set. The June 4 match at Spain is set. There is a good chance the USA will play a "top five team" on or around June 8 in the northeast U.S. The current top five in the FIFA rankings are Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Germany. They will have just played Spain, they faced Brazil in September, and Italy and Germany are in Euro '08, which begins June 7. So it has got to be Argentina, right? The USA also might play a "top 20 team" in Europe before the Spain game"

I'm pretty sure that I got the off Goff's site. I'm having trouble getting to his site today or I would post the link. I did copy it from the page wore for word.

That would be awesome! I'd love to play England. It'd be interesting to see how we could measure up to them at this point. We're not necessarily on the up and up, but the quality of English football seems to be dropping ever so slightly.

If and it's a big if we beat them at Wembley it would be huge for our team. The English would probably go berserk. I guess it couldn't be as bad as missing out on 2008 though.

This is great to see, sounds like Argentina and England talk about testing ourselves this is wonderful!!! Thank you USSF!!! Not to forget Poland has been getting impressive results and should be a real test as well, we seem to really be testing ourselves and trying to develop this cycle to the highest level possible rather than over exciting everyone beating crap teams.

    I Like this.
Right now I think we are a team that is trying to find its identity on the world stage. We are trying to see if we are one of the best B teams, or maybe, just maybe, we can sneak into being a bad Elite team (top 15 id say is elite)
The way to get there and to find this out is to play the best teams. Poland, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, are and would be great ways to guage were we stand on the world stage

We only lost to Sweden 1-0 in Sweden, and beat Switzerland 1-0 in Switzerland. We also beat you guys in March 2006 on a neutral site in K-Town, Germany. I think we can hold our own.

That said, I've been a big fan of Leo Beenhakker since his miracle work with T&T in 2006. He is an excellent coach.

the game in the northeast will probably be England and Argentina for Europe. These matches are great. The only thing that is wrong is that Bob Bradley is our manager.

This is kind of a big game for Bob Bradley. There are more than a few US fans who thought Beenhakker would have been a great choice for coach. His work in Poland has helped that impression.

Beenhakker will bring close to an A squad, minues maybe 1 or 2 players that are still on the injury list. I think the only 2 players that might not make it is:

Boruc -(Got hurt in the Czech Republic game), will probably be replaced by
    Łukasz Fabiański(Arsenal London).

Kuba Błaszczykowski (Borussia Dortmund) - Nursing an Injury
