AVB, Jardim or Rui Jorge. But unfortunately Ronaldo's last WC will be with Santos subbing in CDM's when we are 1-0 down.

I think Santos will be gone if Portugal don't qualify for Qatar especially if they make it to the home and away playoff God forbid and Portugal somehow lose that (example Italy in 2018 when they failed against Sweden) if something unforeseen like that were to happen to Portugal, then Santos is gone.

Or if Portugal qualify and they crash out of Qatar in Group stage, then Santos is gone

If he finishes behind Serbia for Qatar even the President of the Federation will struggle to keep him on the job, this time he lost the popular support, even if the media behaves like nothing happened, and we all know why no one from them wants him sacked (Mendes).

Santos is done after Qatar regardless of what happens, no? Two Euros and Two WCs is surely as long as it gets.

We have the team to win another major tournament. We need a manager that will push the squad to their limits. My preference would be Marcelo Bielsa.

If Bielsa were to leave Leeds, he would be perfect for the job but how about Antonio Conte as Portugal manager

Anyone see Fernando Santos recent inteview. "If it was 23 instead of 26 I wouldnt call William" proceeds to start William in 2 games.

    "I'm not a conservative coach, I play with 2 offensive full backs, a 6, an 8 and an 8/10 and 3 attackers"

Sure they may usually be offensive full backs but other than Guerreiro's shit goal when we needed to beat Hungary and when we were throwing everything at Belgium, when did Guerreiro or Semedo go forward? Also, you consider william an 8? And whose the 8/10? Moutinho whose 35 or something?

No, South American teams have been traditionally way more expansive than European teams. Teams like Chile & Brazil are trying to change the philosophy to be more pragmatic. It's why Brazil got Tite.

I also think South American players have natural talent whereas European players are manufactured.

I can't even listen to him talk anymore. Nothing but lies and excuses. Trying to pass himself off as something he is not. When you start two CDM's against Hungary and leave a plethora of offensive talent on the bench, that tells the world what kind of a manager you are.

We can convince and compensate Leeds to allow him to do both. Plenty of managers have done it in the past.

He gave 2 interviews and one was more embarassing than the other. Or he is lying or he actually believes Portugal was a very attacking team because we made a lot of shots. What that clown doesn't tell is that 90% of those shots were long range shots who didn't even were on target. I am starting to hate him, it's becoming clear he doesn't see nothing wrong with winning 3 matches in 90 minutes in 3 consecutive tournaments. Pathetic.

I vote for Kris Moutinho as our next manager. This Portuguese American kid fought a superior opponent and gave no f@cks. He just kept pressuring forward and kept calling his opponent a b!tch multiple times. His opponent was looking at the clock wishing it to end.

He has the mentality that the National team needs. He won’t fear the big teams like Germany, France, Italy, and Brazil. He will win us our first Word Cup.

On the bright side, England & France are also stuck with similar managers.

100%. Out of all the Managers "available", AVB is the man for this team. I would literally pitch in a good sum of money to have it happen.

Fernando Santos, with no disrespect, is not the man to lead us to World Cup glory. If he stays and does, I will make it my mission to find him and apologize to him personally.

So do I, but the problem is Santos won't be sacked. Unless he fails qualification for Qatar.
