Congratulations, bullies. You got your wish. At least now you won't be able to just blame the coach for our shortcomings.

I didn’t agree with alot of the anti Berhalter haters but I don’t think it was unfair he lost his job and this is unquestionably an upgrade.

step 1 - Cone got her job done.
step 2 - the men need to decide how much the badge and flag and jersey means to them

I just want to see some guts and motivation tonight ....

Also sounds like that from the interview Crocker gave. Mentioned multiple times that it’s a big problem that alot of our guys aren’t getting consistent time with their clubs.

100% agree. It was time to move on. I think most of us fall in our camp. I think the difference is that some of us feel the players were also underperforming and while we may get a bump with a new/better coach, it won't be enough to overcome the challenges of the current player pool.

Crocker also said Pochettino came very prepared to their first discussion and had very much done his research and was familiar with the pool. And that he and his lead assistant gave their own presentation in terms of their plan for the team.

And as many speculated the transfer window deadline was a big part of the delay.

Multiple meetings with Klopp also. I’d be curious as to the other coaches they chatted with. Sort of hinted at in the article but not confirmed.
