That website, whatever it is, has 1,009 "advertising partners."
No way in hell I am visiting that site!

Good news if he is considering an MLS Transfer, though.

From other articles, it appears that he said yesterday:

“What will I do? I don’t know. I just heard I have 51 days left on my contract. I’ll listen to a few more offers and then decide, ” he told Eleven Sports.

“There might be an option for a lower league. I’m about to turn 38, so I won’t deny that it might be time to think about it. On the other hand, I feel good physically, so I have a mix of things in mind.

“I have to consider that it might be time to play and enjoy life. Maybe that’s an option, so I’m not saying no.”

Glad to hear that MLS (and, I suspect, the Saudi league) would be a "lower league."

Dick Motta - pro basketball coach said it - but I don't remember the team. It wasn't the Bulls. The phrase is also credited to San Antonio sportswriter Dan Cook.

    Latest Lewandowski “ news”.
Barcelona says no final decisions regarding Lewandowski and Rashford will be made until after final 3 matches of season are completed.
One “ source” says Lewandowski pushing for final team decision before last home match of season, which will be played this Sunday.

Multiple reports of the 90m offer, can’t find any supporting he accepted it.

Last reports from Lewy or his agent indicated they would wait until his current contract was expired (June1h to announce

Multiple reports from multiple sources is one thing, multiple reports based on only one source is another. Do we know?
Also the original Polish report makes no mention of MLS interest or from any other specific club. Seems strange.
Maybe a real offer, maybe not.

They claim to provide - "Unrivaled football coverage"
    https://thetouchline.co.uk/
By the way, their entire website consists of some text and a link to their Xcrement page.

    They have right now :

: Rodrigo de Paul will sign for Racing in Argentina once Messi retires. He has already made the decision. —
    @DavilaTomi

Well, since Messi is not "retiring" at the moment, I do not see how this has any relevance to anything.

And with that, I am not counting on their "Unrivaled football coverage" and will wait for a more reliable source.

Yes, it all seems to be from the same source.

That is something everyone of us has said for a year or more.
I have long maintained that he would probably prefer to go elsewhere, but if the "lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia" arrive, he would be a fool not to take it.
It would be sad if he went there just for huge bucks, but when you only have a limited time left in your career, take the insane money.

That said, Messi did this exact thing.
The Messi offer from Saudi Arabia was nine figures a year (reportedly) and still went to MLS.

He has made multiple comments on the subject but, like these two, there is little substance in them. Nobody should be too surprised that Lewy will likely receive offers from the Saudis. Nothing new here.

The risk with Lewandowski is Porto. If they match the €15M he may stay in Iberia.

I will be SHOCKED if Lewy goes to Saudi. He has a wife and kids and the life they lead is simply not allowed in SA. Poland culturally also looks unapprovingly towards the middle east, and any player that has signed there has been heavily criticized. Messi could have taken a billion and gone to SA, and Lewandowski can probably sign an absurd contract as well. I just don't think (hope?) he would consider living there.

My take on Lewy. SA is the obvious cash grab but least appetizing level of soccer and not family friendly. Select Euro clubs offer more tradition, less family disruption and potential participation in top tournaments but less certainty of starting and ( so far, at least) minimal money. Fire has acceptable money, assurances of playing time and a chance for him and his family to participate in a new adventure.
I am afraid Fire is no.2 in line behind any Euro team willing to nearly match Fire’s contract offer.

Porto president has just stated Lewy acquisition is beyond their financial capability.

Sure, matching a mythical 90 million Euro offer would be tough! :D

A 90 million Saudi offer does not automatically rule out a Fire move by Lewy.
Lewy and his wife Anna both speak proficient English. They were married in 2013 and have 2 daughters, ages 6 and 9. Their net worth worth estimated variously at 50 to 150 million dollars, probably closer to high number when considering the various world-wide business interests. Anna indicated a few years ago that
Lewy could easily retire in MLS, ( preferably in LA, ugh!).
Do not give up hope yet!

True, but I give the fire about a 10% chance at this point. You can retire much easier with 90 million dollars , plus Ronaldo and Karim Benzema are in the league.

He can retire right now and never have to work again, nor do his kids and grandkids ever have to work. The most valuable thing that he has is time and years of his life.

I wish Robert the best. If he comes to the Fire, I will definitely buy a jersey with his name on it, but I hope he doesn’t. IMO the team does not need a striker at the expense of a midfielder.

Saudi team mentioned already has signed Benzema. Do they really have the money and playing
time for the two of them?

We found two decently priced midfielders in Lod and Salétros. Last year we got Bamba and Dje. We’ve dedicated a lot of resources to midfield already. If a big name proven talent in midfield isn’t available I think we have a set midfield squad. The return of Franco solidifies that. It’s not currently performing as well as we’d like but I think our midfield is set, for better or for worse. And like I’ve said, if that “Lewandowski” caliber midfielder appears you move Bamba to get them.

Our depth at striker sucks. It’s actually non-existent. Lewandowski fixes several problems.
