Yes, and especially "at a lower rate." That was great phrasing. Is that at $15 million a year or, as some have suggested, that he would come here to be a "TAM" level player.
You are not wrong, but…things are pretty tense and tone/intent doesn’t come across the internet clearly. Annnnd, there’s clearly been an insane amount of F’n BS going on recently…orchestrated by ‘the right’…but I’ll save the list and any rant for the political thread\
Glad to see Mbokazi arrive for remainder of preseason. Not for the full five weeks but two is better than none. Integration into the team and adjustment to MLS play was always going to be a process. The coaches will be careful not to rush the process physically. I hope TLB lets the process occur and does not try to do too much too soon and gets injured. As much I look forward to watching him play, patience is needed.
No “official announcement” by Fire yet. Watch for one in a week . Alex C posted yesterday he was already training with team at Coachella. Good enough for me.
Unless he was specifically asked not to release the news, I do not understand your objection. His posting was only one of 4 of 5 places I saw this. Mentioned him because he has good credibility.
Gomez in talks with Chicago Fire The WAZ further reports, Johan Gomez is also making a surprising change. The 24-year-old American apparently wants to return to his home country and is said to be in advanced talks with MLS club Chicago Fire Eintracht also has at least six-figure transfer fee for Gomez, who came from FSV Zwickau in the summer of 2023 and still has a contract until 2027. At the same time, however, a regular force with Gomez would also say goodbye, as the variable offensive man was last seven times in a row in the starting eleven and on 18 of the previous 20 match days on the field. Maybe a swap for MHS? Johan is a US citizen…one less tag needed
News out of Europe is we have tendered an official offer to Lewandowski, a 2 year deal at a very high salary.
what used to be an utter pipe dream is now edging towards very possible. if it happens (please, please, dear God, please!), I think having the 2nd half of the season with Cuypers is great for the team. lot of questions will be answered.

Thank you for sharing this! Looking forward to reviewing for changes from 2025! The follow up is intriguing, in that it seems like a tightening up of the bonus GAM program...and to a degree forces the hand of clubs...not sure that was the intent, but ok.
