You should only apologize for having Chelsea in your name.

Yes that guy sucks the MLSELI person. Have him blocked......he literally at least at first posted stuff and said he did it before getting called out for taking other people's stories claiming it was his. Now it looks like he just reposts stuff from others but the guy has no sources....just like the MLS MOVES guy who was a liar and got called out too lol

Lots of questionable “ stuff” out there. Saw one claiming announcement at 2:00 on Friday. Strange time considering Napoli last match starts at 1:45.
    Do not believe claim.

  10. I'll bet your sources are a bunch of hot air.

If its true we did sign him there is no financial or marketing benefit to the Fire waiting to let everyone know.. He is. ticket seller and a player who the team can use to restabilsh their presence in the Chicago Land and US Sports Market..

Well, we don’t have a home game for a while so no hurry on selling tickets.

I assume "him" is Kevin De Bruyne.
It is not "true we did sign him."
We could not have signed him yet. He is still under contract with the lying cheating bastards from the City of Manchester through the end of the month.

He could have signed a "pre contract" declaring his intent to sign, but there is no evidence whatsoever that he has done this.

There is no evidence that he has even chosen to go to Chicago over Napoli or anywhere else.

The EPL (which sucks) season is not over yet. De Bruyne still has a match to go.

It is all speculation at this point. Once he has made a decision and declared his intent and/or actually signed, we will hear about it.

Maybe ESPN will have a live special for De Bruyne, like "The Decision" for LeBron James!
That was some compelling television!;)

Not saying it is impossible but, if he chooses Napoli, they would not want to announce it then (detracts from match). If he chooses Fire, to announce it then would be a slap in face and a distraction to Napoli. It would be the kind of thing that tarnishes a team’s reputation.

Yeah my guess is maybe wait for it to be announced officially after the last game he has played.....but maybe it'll get leaked before whatever he decides to choose.

Well do we go after Modric as well? I think he is a solid fit and has at least a good 2 years in him...

Modric is focusing on the World Cup... Having him here in MLS would allow him to acclimate to our weather and enviorment and stadiums...It makes too much sense for him not too be here

He has been playing non stop since August, playing in 56 matches overall this season. It would be a strain on his 39 year old body to go another five months without a break.

That said, it would be awesome if we signed Modric.

Given that he has just played a full year, transfer window dates, integration into team, etc, we will be lucky to get 6 regular season matches plus playoffs this year. Next year he will focused on avoiding injuries before World Cup, going to World Cup and recuperating from World Cup ( although he is on record saying he will retire after World Cup), it will be another “short season”. Just Sayin’
