Other leagues don’t have a cap so it wouldn’t be much of an advantage like it is here. The players are probably just going where they were already going to go, just a couple weeks early.

My point being every MLS team should have this window open to them. Why does Miami get to reload before we do?

I agree. They should have opened it for all MLS teams

If you have to ask, you don't know MLS! ;););)

Different rules for Beckham and friends.
    Always has been.

So we've been pretty good since Dean has come back. It's almost like we have a solid defense when he's in. We've given up 2 goals in 3 games since he's been back starting, and one of those was after he was subbed off. Again, what I iterated earlier this year, Dean has never been the issue on this team.

We gave up 14 goals in 6 games when he was out injured.

There was one play when he crossed all the way across the field to cover for Gutman. It was very confusing but worked out for us.

Wingbacks are still all the rage. I think people don't like him because he's not a "wingback" and people like whatever's shiny, new, or popular. Dean is a solid defender which could open up the possibility of a true outside midfielder playing on the left defense because two good CBs and Dean on the right with a competent D-Mid could handle the defense while five to six other players could contribute on plenty of offensive plays.

I agree with most of your comments. What you are proposing starts with 2 strong CBs and 1 above-average defensively-solid DM, plus at least one fullback playing good defense. Unfortunately, we are short of that level currently.

Agreed 100%. Just saying we can start to plan on another formation. Maybe when Teran is back?

Until proven otherwise, I am putting him in my “ do not count on” category and therefore I am not making any plans/ projections that include him. Sorry to say.

I would not do that either, but the Dowd loan opens up an international roster slot so someone is coming in during the next window.

Not an international, may open a senior roster slot.

Last Napoli regular season match is tomorrow (Friday) and all Serie A teams finish
by Sunday. EPL final matches are all played on Sunday. Fire plays on Sunday.
Teams probably do not want to distract players from these matches, so I am forecasting no KDB announcement until at least Tuesday despite all the chatter.
( Of course, they may announce sooner just to spite me.)

Can’t tell if the Fire people that know have learned to zip it or if they truly don’t know…which is not a good sign.

KDB is pretty open and direct in his communications. He just seemed to indicate a decision has not yet been made. I am guessing nobody knows.

Pleased we are in what appears to be the final two possible landing clubs!

Love that Papa Joe and GGG are aiming for this level of acquisition!

So this was 2 days ago......Person works for the Dailybeast and this is what was said. Tyrus said KDB hasn't told us anything.......anything can happen I suppose though. Remember the person on Twitter who had so few followers and broke the Neymar news for us......guess we should know within the next few days.
