The fact that he has now played for 8 clubs, has a salary of $200,000 and a father who was a talented soccer player tells me way more than your stats. Sorry to say!

good year so far. He had only 3 last year and 8 in 2022. So why are they selling him so cheap and why so many moves?

  4. Maybe Glasgow want a richer deal than they're willing to offer, or a better opportunity. He's a well known commodity. Or they're waiting for the off season when there are roster spots and things are less complicated.

By far the best version going…
If someone happens to chat with him, the one thing that would make this ‘everything’ is to add one more box under their name with the contract expiration year…and maybe a + next to the number of there is an option to extend. :D

a key feature of Lassiter is that his contract is up after this season, allowing maximum flexibility going into the offseason with a new GM

I would imagine that the list of guys that 1) fit the speedy winger profile, 2) had a contract expiring after this season, and 3) were made available by their current club was not a long list

someone else brought it up here or on Reddit, but what's the deal with Gasper? can he not go on some season-ending injury list if he isn't going to play again, thus freeing up a supplemental roster spot for a Fire II promotion?

Continue to be most appreciative of his efforts compiling this. Extremely useful.
Do have one question. The graphic says that two buyouts allowed. I remember reading that this proposal was not approved at the big league meeting due to opposition from MLSPA and small market owners. Has this been changed or does
    his graphic need correction?

  9. I think he's updating a graphic made when a second buyout was believed to be likely so he needs to fix it.

with the new signing, I want to see Guti line up in the middle of the field

not out on the wing with a lot of drifting to the middle

AND, more importantly, with the new UNsigning, Gutierrez needs to be in the middle.

Does he take the No. 10 shirt going forward?!?

That number will be saved for when Sharafdzhon Solehov signs a DP contract.

Just saw that Fire chose U22 roster option (2DPs + 4 U22s) and will receive additional
$1 million GAM for second half of season.
Assuming this is accurate, on the surface this seems like a good move, given
    no DP acquisition now.
A little surprised that only 9 of 22 teams chose U22 option.

Yessssssssssssss! We need a Tajikistan player to cater to our massive landlocked, central Asian former Soviet Republic fanbase!
Hey, at least he is/was a full Tajikistani international!
For some reason he was banned from football for about six months.

No, he would not be the second coming of David "the moderately tall" Arshakyan.

By the way, according to Wikipedia, David Arshakyan has scored a total of 2 goals since 2016 (on 10 different teams), including his two seasons with the Fire.
