The Battery players arranged a friendly competition a couple years for bragging rights called the crossbar challenge. this year see Battery TV shows us a surprise winner! Also for those in the Charleston Area, or passing through, the Battery have teamed up with Molly Darcy's Irish pub on East Bay street just north of the Market in the heart of downtown for viewing away battery games. Molly Darcy's will offer food and drink specials and should be a good spot to watch the away games with some fellow Battery fans.

Another great article by Dan at CHSsoccer. A very frank and indepth interview with Jose Cuevas http://www.chssoccer.net/jose-cuevas-youve-got-to-be-the-best/ I am so rooting for this guy to make it. His work ethic, story (from picking fruit to playing pro)and his humility is something many players in a variety of sports could learn from.
