We have games...the Summer Series (previously announced as Tournament of Nations): Kicking off the summer in Texas! 💪The #USWNT is headed to Houston and Austin for the WNT Summer Series presented by @ATT featuring Portugal, Jamaica and Nigeria!— U.S. Women's National Soccer Team (@USWNT) May 6, 2021 Portugal and Jamaica aren't traveling to Austin to play each other in the last leg. Full schedule is also on the USSF website: June 10 Jamaica vs. Nigeria in Houston, Texas 4:30 p.m. CT June 10 USA vs. Portugal in Houston, Texas 7:30 p.m. CT FS1 June 13 Portugal vs. Nigeria in Houston, Texas 6 p.m. CT June 13 USA vs. Jamaica in Houston, Texas 9 p.m. CT FS1 June 16 USA vs. Nigeria in Austin, Texas 8 p.m. CT ESPN2 EDIT with note from the USSF website about the Tournament of Nations moving forward: "U.S. Soccer previously staged the Tournament of Nations during this summer period in 2017 and 2018 and had planned to hold the tournament during non-Olympic and non-World Cup years. Due to FIFA changing the international match window in June from a three-match window to a two-match window starting in 2022, the competition will no longer be able to be held. "In addition, the June FIFA international match window for 2021 has already changed to a two-match opportunity for European teams, meaning that the format of the Summer Series will feature the USA and Nigeria playing three matches while Portugal and Jamaica will play two. No standings will be kept and all matches will be treated as friendlies."
Special note on this match: the USWNT will be opening the brand-new stadium in Austin. https://www.statesman.com/story/spo...champions-play-austin-q-2-stadium/4954672001/

Macario named best 21 year old or younger, from this otherwise peice of shit article by ESPN who shows the usual anti German bias as it's got out of 21 players; 8 from England 4 for the US(though 3 in the top ten) 3 from France 2 from Australia 1 from Germany(even though they got 7 that age group senior NT capped all ready) so nevermind that the English NT has lost 9 fo their last 13 games featuring quite a few from this list, their always be beloved by Americans Macario, Huitema, Rodman among the 21 best female players age 21 or under
Don't be silly it isn't an anti-German bias it is an pro-English speaking country bias and a pro-pro-pro-English bias.
@hotjam2 has also complained that there are too many non-white players on the list, because he's racist. Maybe yous should talk about that
Of USWNT players who were eligible, Christie Pearce is elected into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility: https://www.nationalsoccerhof.com/n...olo-highlight-hall-of-fame-class-of-2021.html Solo didn't quite make it in this year, nor did Markgraf on the Veterans ballot. Eection results are linked in the article above. EDIT: Just adding a link to this feature on Christie Pearce: https://www.nationalsoccerhof.com/news/2021/06/christie-pearce-rampone-elected-to-hall-of-fame.html
World Cup Championships Christie Pearce - 2 These 3 other jokers who I haven't heard of (combined) - 0 Perhaps the National Soccer Hall of Fame would be better served by creating some kinda Congeniality category to honor those dudes.
Congratulations, Christie! No one deserves it more. Rock solid at the back against difficult opponents, often the fastest player on the field.
This is perfect and everything I wanted from media about the record of most games played without a goal: This is your Captain speaking! 🗣 As she closes in on the #USWNT record for the most games played without scoring a goal, @beckysauerbrunn with an important message 🇺🇸⚽️ pic.twitter.com/mXM8pOrEu5— U.S. Women's National Soccer Team (@USWNT) July 17, 2021
