Per a Promo during last night's game - - - - - Julie, in all her Complete and Total Awesomeness and Julie's Husband will appear in a taped interview on the pre-game show "NFL Gameday Morning" Sunday on the NFL Network. Sorry, they didn't mention a specific time so we are left with 9 - 1pm (ET) before the Sunday Games kickoff.
Great piece by the NFL Network. Centered around WWC in France, this thing called the Super Bowl, supporting each other and their competitiveness. I'm no Marketing expert but surprised that we don't see them as much as Peyton Manning. Interviewer failed to ask Julie's Husband the obvious question of........Are you mystified by Julie's Complete and Total Awesomeness?

This half hour documentary about the USWNT conquering the World last summer in France is a must see. In fact, Doctor Doggy is writing a Board-wide prescription to set your DVR. Trust me, in the depths of December you will need this. Plus, all of your Holiday guests will want to view it. Replay times: Thu 11/21 5:30pmET FS2 Fri 11/22 5:00pmET FS2 Sun 11/24 8:30amET FS1
I saw this last night, purely by mistake while channel surfing. I agree that it's a great antidote to the depths of cold, dreary weather. Something that really struck me came near the end: This team and its players take up space.
Our solar system consists of the Sun, and everything bound to it by gravity — the planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, dwarf planets such as Pluto, dozens of moons and millions of asteroids, comets and meteoroids. The remaining physical space of the solar system is occupied by the aura of the United States Women's National Soccer Team.
Congrats on the doctorates in medicine and astronomy. Must have been doing a lot of studying in between attending the 24 matches this year. Well, Doctor's orders. Recording set. And I didn't even have to drive to the pharmacy.
I saw this when they aired on primetime Fox. I assure you, I didn't know they did this documentary but I was so obsessed that I was looking up USWNT on my television guide online happen to find it.
In my esteemed, revered, "expert" while still being humble opinion............................... Julie Ertz - Absolute, Utter Total Badass. Rose Lavelle - Absolute, Utter Total Badass. Carli Lloyd - Absolute, Utter Total Badass. Alex Morgan - Absolute, Utter Total Badass. Alyssa Naeher - Absolute, Utter Total Badass. Megan Rapinoe - Absolute, Utter Total Badass. Therefore, logical conclusion - - - - Six-way tie for POY. You wait, one of these years my wish will come true.

I wonder who advises this woman... @ProSoccerUSAcom Jaelene Hinkle ‘hopeful’ for another USWNT chance after standout season with NWSL champion NC Courage https://trib.al/u15Sr3W
There are several players in the NWSL we could name as "best this year (for whatever year we use)" who have not made it to the national team. I think Hinkle's play would need to be exceptional for US Soccer to invite her back.
When have we ever seen an athlete deliver so spectacularly under the kind of pressure that Megan Rapinoe faced this year? In doing so without fear, she became a voice for so many across the world https://t.co/cOsrT5D962 pic.twitter.com/XKizWVHozD— SI Soccer (@si_soccer) December 9, 2019
The USWNT were included in Outside's Outsiders of the Year list: https://www.outsideonline.com/2406294/outside-magazine-most-influential-people-2019
The awards keep coming: the team also is named Time's Athlete of the Year: The U.S. Women's Soccer Team is TIME's 2019 Athlete of the Year #TIMEPOY https://t.co/POPdUBWsK6 pic.twitter.com/UX8GyRWJgV— TIME (@TIME) December 11, 2019 And yes, Alex Morgan and Tierna Davidson are not in the cover photo. I assume they couldn't make the photo shoot.
I'm on reddit right now just reading all the butt hurt comments from all the guys that can't believe these are the selections. "Boo hoo, I wanted Tom Brady...."
So I have to ask after the Sports Illustrated 23 Players 23 Covers* (*sike) debacle earlier this year: is this the cover of an actual physical magazine that can be purchased in stores or online, and hypothetically added to a certain burgeoning collection of USWNT memorabilia, or just a picture for the article?
The Athletic names Rapinoe as their Soccer Person of the Year. The great thing about this is not that Rapinoe gets another award, but that this article is so well written in tying the author's and Rapinoe's stories together as well as showing the human side of sport. Sorry to those who haven't subscribed to the Athletic and are behind a paywall.
There are some........and I won't say who - that will have this on continual loop during the upcoming dreary winter days and nights. Top Ten Goals of 2019
