Walter Mazzarri believes he is building a title-winning team at Napoli. Napoli are unbeaten since Mazzarri took charge on October 6 and currently lie fourth in Serie A, just a point behind Roma and three adrift of Milan. Speaking to Radio Anch'io Sport, Mazzarri said: “I believe that this team can compete for the title in the future, because we have quality youngsters. “If we don't make any mistakes in building this team and we do it fast, plugging the right holes in the summer, working with the right degree of professionalism, then we can compete with the biggest clubs. “Basically we have to try and make the best of our possibilities, showing the sort of mentality that allows us to go anywhere and make a game of it. We'll do the math at the end of the season. What comes out of this year will be the basis for the next, but it's not the case that we are talking about precise objectives - only the big clubs can do that. “There isn't a precise recipe for success. For now, we are all striving to do the best possible. We have to improve in being more compact and not committing the little mistakes that risk compromising the result, which has sometimes been the reason why we have lost useful points this season.” More...
