Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly going ban crazy at Old Trafford. The Daily Mail says Ferguson, even by his extraordinary standards, was in ban overdrive with the media in the build-up to last night’s Carling Cup semi-final. As well as Sky Sports being barred from his press conferences for highlighting the acrimony surrounding the game, no fewer than five Sunday newspapers are also off the invite list for writing that Fergie believed Carlos Tevez should have been banned from the second leg.
