Hearts boss Csaba Laszlo has admitted Celtic target Lee Wallace could leave if the Jambos received the right price.

However, Laszlo insisted the club had yet to receive a bid for the 22-year-old and did not want to lose the player.

"Everyone has a price," Laszlo said of Wallace, who was linked earlier in the season with a move to Ipswich.

"But the decision must be from the board and the player."

Laszlo was forced to sell captain Christophe Berra to Wolves a year ago after they matched Hearts' valuation.

"He had the price and they paid this and he moved," the Jambos boss said.

"Definitely from my personal view, if Lee Wallace moves, I am not very happy about this, as he is a very important piece of this squad and he has improved."

Laszlo finally made a signing on Monday after Darren Barr agreed to join Hearts on a pre-contract.

He added: "Lee is a good and professional player but we talk about Barr before and why he would like to come here because he's sees the chance to improve - with Lee Wallace it is the same."
