Fulham defender Aaron Hughes had a dig at Tottenham's ambition after defeat at White Hart Lane on Tuesday. Hughes felt Spurs never attempted to attack Fulham, particularly after their second goal. "It's always a tough game at White Hart Lane," he told fulhamfc.com. "They started well and had a few early shots on goal but we then settled down. The first goal was a bad one to give away but even then we were still in the game, they were never running away with it. The deflection for their second goal killed the game; they just sat back after that. "We knocked the ball around well at times but we didn't really get at them in the way we would have liked.
