Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has heaped praise on Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer after a good performance in Spurs’ 2-0 win at White Hart Lane. The Australia international was at his best in the loss and kept his side in the contest on numerous occasions. He was undone by a first-half Peter Crouch goal but the 60th minute strike from David Bentley took a cruel deflection off Cottagers defender Bjorn Helge Riise. Redknapp was quick to applaud the Australian custodian at the post-match press conference, saying: “Three points for Tottenham, that's the main thing," he said. "We've been playing well and we've come up against a terrific goalkeeper.
