He was joking about Lalas.. I imagine he speaks a lot of Spanish, however.. As far as Chivas not liking ex-US Nats (or current), it doesn't seem to stop them in hiring players..
yeah, and CDC-USA has been getting less Mexi-centric lately, in my opinion. after that dismal first year which I think embarassed the ownership, you gotta give them credit for branching out in terms of coaches and players. if only the Mexican league would do the same, they might be able to stop their long slow decay. but if not, so much the better for MLS teams in international competitions.
Swift would be a genius move....which is why they won't do it. But it would automatically make Inferno O30 Red an inferior team....so I like it.
