Okay boys, we are out of the West Asian Games' finals. Syria just defeated Iran on penalty kicks. :(

Borhani scored twice to give Iran the Bronze in the West Asian Games. Here is a game report I wrote for my web site:

    - Mobali scored for his club(lol).

    - Luxembourg claim that he was offered to coach Iran before he joined his ex club.

I am waiting for your report on Zandi's play in Kaiserslautern's midweek game. I heard he did pretty well as a sub in the 74th minute. Altintop is injured so I bet Zandi starts on Saturday.

I read that he missed a very good opportunity to tie the game. I haven't seen the highlights yeat, but I think Zandi is a good (not great) attacking midfielder.

His one touch passing is sometimes too much for others in the Iran National Team because Iranian players are used to holding on to the ball a bit too long. As a result they are not often prepared for his quick passes. He'll do well in the World Cup.

Here is a news clip about Foolad. A few days ago there was some rumbling out of Ahvaz about a possible coaching change, but it seems like it has been put on hold for now.

"The footballers can't help it that they've got a crazy president," said Peter Struck, leader of the Social Democratic caucus in the Bundestag chamber of the German federal parliament.
