Birmingham City youngster Jake Jervis is hoping he can capture a loan deal that will give him more first team experience. The 18-year old striker made his debut for the Blues in the weekend’s 2-1 FA Cup win over Everton and now hopes his performance was not lost on clubs in lower divisions. “I'm trying to get out on loan which will give me more experience," Jervis told the club's official website. "There are a couple of League Two clubs who are interested so it would be good if something came off." The level-headed Birmingham native says he is remaining calm about his future and is happy just to take things slowly for the time being. "I've been guaranteed a pro contract but I'm still in my second year as an Academy scholar,'' he said. "I'm not looking ahead too far, though.
