It does not in the least bit surprise me, but that is a completely useless article. The only even remotely interesting comments were: 1) naming Phildelphia among the "five" over Miami. 2) naming SIX teams and then calling the article "5 Possible MLS Fits for Messi." That was some high level dishonesty. The others (for those of you smart enough to skip the article): LAG NYRB NYCFC Montreal Toronto As for the article itself, he dismisses both Miami and Seattle as "neither currently has the particular roster spot that would be required" as if that would be a deterrent in way shape or form. First, MLS can always "add" a DP. Second, any team can dump a DP in any manner of ways (and, sometimes, dump them on the Fire-Ljunberg and that Alvaro dude say "Hi" and "get me the f*ck out of Bridgeview." Oh, and Gilberto (?) was a Fire DP for a cup of coffee after being cut by Toronto.
