That's interesting considering he just said he was not match fit to play with the U21s today...

He was supposed to play tonight, but LvG said he needed to be built up. I think the plan is to have him train for a week or so then play a U-21 match before appearing for the first team.

These days I'm finding watching United a duty more than a pleasure.

Mustn't grumble though. Deprivation makes success all the more sweet.

...As I'm sure many scousers were telling themselves after 18 months of Souness.

Steady on now. No need to be so bold with those predictions.

It is a test of your fanhood. It is easy to sing when your winning, not so when your team puts you to sleep. We will come good, we must.

IF we moved to a 4-4-2 and got rid of Rooney, what would we look like? my thoughts

    Memphis Martial
    AY Schnederlin Herrera Lingard
    BoJack Blind "Mike" Darmain

I truly believe for a FA cup game this should have been the line-up told to go give it a lash.

I've supported Man United my entire life. I grew up in the eighties so I've been through less successful periods. I'll be watching for better or for worse.

It's just that we're so tedious right now.

I don't recall us ever being so boring. If it was getting results, I could be pragmatic and enjoy the system for what it is. Sadly, it isn't.

Adnan Yanuzaj will not be deemed fit to play though. :D

Newcastle's defence has been stubborn of late, this match should be a low scoring one indeed

    Here we go again.

LVG is super scared playing away. I think we will lose.

i hope we're going 4-3-3 with schneiderlin as the holder. my only thing is: if you're going to play fellaini (and even herrera, for that matter), you have to at least put them in a position to succeed. they're not 6s and they're not 10s... they both play better as B2B midfielders, albeit with very different styles.

LvG doesnt like MS as a single pivot. His positioning in build up is weird. I think he'll grow into the position, though. Only Blind is better than MS at passing b/w the lines

what's maddening to me is that playing fellaini or herrera in a double pivot is exactly like playing a single pivot without the benefit of someone coming in late in the box à la lampard.
