Yeah, it was hard for me not to think about January 6 in DC.
tired of dani's schtick.
10 shots in 30 minutes
Meanwhile the PBP Seb Hutchinson talks about whether Arsenal are going to turn him into a permanent signing. I guess he hasn’t been following this forum. NFW!
Their fullbacks are so bad that even Willian gets away from them.
I get why Martinelli doesn't start.
I just caught a glimpse of Aubameyang and he didn’t look so well to me
I wonder how much more will see of him today?
He needs to come off at half-time. Play Eddie.
While NBC was doing it's somewhat annoying split-screen, I was doing my own split-screen by watching Arsenal Women at Everton. I guess it was kind of a hedge on my part.
Anyway, I'm happy to report that our ladies squeaked out a win with the last kick of the ball in added time, after earning a PK. And all but clinching 3rd place and eearning a UCL spot, at the expense of Yanited.
Hopefully that's some sort of a good omen for their male counterparts.
BUT it looks like NBCSN is going to show the mayhem at OT instead of the footy at St. James. So I'm off to try to find a stream of our match without the split screen.
No luck finding a stream of our match. But I see Luiz just did his hammie or something.
End of Luiz's Arsenal career there?
NBCSports.com has the same annoying split screen with no audio commentary. Peacock.com doesn't have our match.
Anyone have a viable stream their watching us on?
These drunken men on the tarps are going to be banned for life, if not worse. That lad who was hanging on top of the goal net, could meet the same fate. And that one guy who was breaking the camera tripod and roaming all over the place... he might end up being a convict.
Meanwhile, Arteta continues to play Xhaka for some reason. And he just gets a nasty looking kick on the foot. If ever there was a player to take off with an eye toward a bigger picture, i.e. Thursday, it would be Xhaka no?
this is annoying
How many cops does it take to quell a stadium infiltration?
Meanwhile it's still 1-0 to the Arsenal. But that's about all I can say about our match
OK, I moved closer to my screen to actually be able to see something. And lo and behold...
Xhaka with a peach of a cross to Auba who buries it with a tricky volley. 2-0!
Edit: Sorry, Martinelli not Xhaka. I guess the split-screen is still too small for me to see properly.
Which seems to shame NBC into returning to full coverage of our match. A tad late I'd say. Smh.
and we scored . . . pending some VAR related bullshit of course
Martinelli, not Xhaka. It was a beauty
78' Pepe comes on for Auba. Who leaves with a smile. And a clinching goal!
Can't really claim to tell you that I have any idea how well Auba played but the experience seems to have been a success?
Seriously. NBC was acting like it was Nazis storming the Capitol.
Joe Willock - a big fan of HBO Sports.
Yeah. Certainly there were echos and copy-cat overtones, but it's not the same.
I think a better solution would've been for Rebecca to say "we're going to stick with the scenes at Old Trafford but if you'd rather watch the match in progress, switch over to NBCSports.com or Peacock.com to do that".
However, apparently NBC weren't in a position to be that flexible or adept. NBCSports.com just had the same exact NBCSN split-screen format, and Peacock.com had zippo.
straight red? ooooookay
If he seriously injured Martinelli, it is fair.
