Time to avenge last season's bullshittery! The mighty Arsenal head north to Geordie land.

    8:30 kickoff on Saturday morning.

Well, we're still missing Ode for a while longer, but Saka seemed to be pretty damn fit for yesterday's match so hopefully he's good to go for Saturday. That'd make a BIG difference to our potency.

Otherwise, Saliba is expected. And Rice was rested so was only for managing minutes, he should be good to go also. But some people we're more likely to miss are: Gabriel, Calafiori and possibly White... none of whom traveled to Preston.

So still our back line that's likely to be the most makeshift. Cross fingers!

this fixture requires retribution. Any win at any (reasonable) cost will suffice.
If this is fairly and consistently officiated, we should win

According to Kaya Kaynak, Odegaard is pushing to be back for Newcastle but a return for Inter is more likely. And Gabriel was in contention to play vs Preston but they chose to rest him.

This is but one example of why when we've been linked to Bruno, let's just say I haven't been enthusiastic. He goes well beyond any level of prick-ness that I'm wanting to see on my team.

Team news from Mikel's presser today:
    • Gabriel is a maybe*... hadn't trained before today
    • White is ditto*, and he said his injury was a "joint issue" not a groin
    • Odegaard is no, but perhaps a maybe for Inter
    • Calafiori is no
    • Tomiyasu is no... won't be back until after next interlull

*Edit: Did not see any evidence of Gabby or Ben in today's training pics. Read what you will into that.

Feel like Kai is gonna conspire to have a blinder. He'll shithouse his way into a brace and getting a Toon player sent off.

The way the lineup is written, Saka looks like the R8

Good XI. Let’s hope Gabriel isn’t being rushed back. Partey at RB should be fine, but it’s the only OOP choice. Sorry White is not quite fit but at least he made the bench. :)

ps. Wouldn’t mind seeing Ethan come in during 2T and put the game away with a blistering goal or two!

    COYG!!!!

St. James’s is one of my bucket list grounds to go see us play in. Along with Anfield, Villa Park & Goodison.

Not a very realistic bucket list I’ll admit. And Goodison will be razed well before I might get moving on this.

Not supposed to do that against your future club, Alexander.
