Parker was great and gave an A+ effort; Shearer proved his worth with a goal, assist and a brilliant save; Ameobi is generally worthless; Owen is Owen; Solano was average (bummer about the own goal); Bramble didn't screw up as much as he ususally does; Given saved our asses again.

The statue of Milburn isn't at the stadium, its down the road a bit.

I personally would like to see Shearer only equal the record, of course I won't be angry if he scores another 15 goals this season. :D

The top one was stolen, the bottom one is where it is now.

In addition I found out are statues of Jackie Milburn on Northumberland Street, Newcastle and outside the Woodhorn Colliery Museum, Ashington.
So the other one must be at the museum..
I guess the botton one is the one you are talking about in Newcastle on Northumberland Street..
Perhaps they will wait several years before Sir Shearer gets one.. ;)

The bottom one is a totally new one that they made a few years ago after the top one was stolen. The one on Northumberland St is the top one.

The bottom one is outside the now closed Newcastle Breweries bottling plant on Blenheim St.

    oh yeah thanks shearer ..

i think big proplme in team now tha player dont keep tha ball under foot ..
he just send tha ball to out newcasle zone ..

we miss emre he can keep tha ball with him many time in much ..

in second half west ham can score second goal in any munte ..only because we have tha super GK like given we cant accept anuther goals and loss !!

Parker's booking means he's suspended for the Liverpool game.

Time for Bowyer to make an impression before he moves back to London.

Late post...Huge win for us the other day. Going to be a very very difficult task on the 26th but hopefully the boys will be up for it.

The result between Arsenal and Chelsea means that Newcastle still hold the record for most consecutive home wins in the Premiership with 14.

Ah it'll be tough but if you wanted good timing to play Liverpool, I think this is it. They are coming back from Asia and could be tired physically and possibly mentally. Even though a lot of people think the World Club Championship is a joke, Liverpool players/coaches truly seem like they cared...

Liverpool have only conceded in one home league match this season. Granted it was four to Chelsea.

So, either we're screwed or they're due. I'll go with 'they're due'.
